Carbon Markets USA Summary

The 2nd Annual Carbon Markets USA conference was held on 16th and 17th September at the Kellogg Conference Hotel in Washington DC.  This year we were delighted to welcome over 160 delegates who were able to investigate recent developments in policy and regulation including regional and state activities and current bills in Congress. The conference also examined US carbon investment and the effect of the global credit crisis on the markets. Delegates listened to experts discuss the carbon market’s contribution to sustainable forestry and farming as well as what effect the carbon markets are having on energy-intensive industries. The conference facilitated superior networking and the opportunity to question some of the leading figures in the carbon markets industry.
