GeoPower Europe 2010: The Official Conference of the European Geothermal Energy Council

GeoPower Europe has cemented its reputation as THE premier European geothermal energy event, and has become a powerful networking forum for all European and international geothermal industry leaders.

The 2nd annual GeoPower Europe conference and exhibition focused on policy, finance, and real project opportunities. This senior-level summit brought together policy-makers, utilities, developers and investors from around the world to share ideas and define the actions needed to drive forward geothermal investment and development.

This year an extraordinary line-up of industry leaders set out their vision for 2050 and determined the steps required to overcome financial and regulatory barriers and scale up geothermal power and heat to eventually meet 20% of Europe's future energy demands.

GeoPower Europe is the official conference of the European Geothermal Energy Council (EGEC).
