Introduction:

Recent interest and activity in small hydro has soared, driven by federal incentives the market for small hydro power continues to grow and is now recognized as one of the most cost effective and environmentally friendly forms of renewable power. The challenge now facing the industry is to meet the potential offered by small-scale hydropower in the USA.

Green Power Conferences’ Small Hydropower USA 2010 offers a platform for utilities to interact with policy makers, regulators, investors, engineers, certification bodies, consultants and equipment designers and manufacturers so the entire value chain has a chance to clarify their key pressure points and obstacles, and how the various parties can work together to overcome them.
