This half day workshop will focus on unlicensed opportunities in the Turkish market. The unlicensed electricity generation is new and unique market for Turkish energy sector. The newly issued regulations and communiqués for unlicensed electricity generation allow consumers and investors to generate their electricity using renewable energy up to 500kW, micro-cogeneration up to 50 kW and micro-cogeneration with high efficiency rates. The users are able to meet their own electricity demand and sell their surplus electricity to local distributors. The aforesaid regulations also prioritize domestically produced equipments with a price incentive.
