The Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Partnership (REEEP) has announced just over 1 million Euros of funding for clean energy projects in Africa, Asia, North America, Latin America and Europe.
There are 18 newly-funded REEEP projects focused on accelerating the market development of clean energy. They range from blueprints for national renewable energy policies to support for clean energy funds. In keeping with REEEP’s remit, half of the new projects focus on establishing policy and regulatory models, and half on new financing techniques. Two thirds of the projects are in the renewable energy sector, one third are in energy efficiency.
