Petrotec Biodiesel produces 200,000 t p.a. of the most sustainable biodiesel on the European market (77% GHG emissions reduction according to EU directive proposal). It has developed a proprietary technology to convert difficult to handle feedstocks like used cooking oil or animal fat. As the biggest collector of used cooking oil on the European continent, it transforms waste to energy. Its proven technology has been in operation since the end of the last decade and its EcoPremium Biodiesel conforms with and exceeds the European Norm EN 14214. Its two plants at the Dutch/German border are close to the Antwerp, Rotterdam, Amsterdam harbour areas.
